Frequently Asked Questions

📦 Ordering & Quotes

How do I get a quote for a custom 3D print?

It’s easy! Just head over to our contact page and upload your 3D design files (STL, OBJ, or 3MF formats work best). Once we review the file, material requirements, and printing time, we will send you a free, no-obligation quote.

Can I order ready-made items?

Yes! We offer a wide variety of ready-to-ship FDM printed items, ranging from fun fidget toys and unique gadgets to custom desktop miniatures. Browse our shop to see what’s currently available.

Can I choose the color or material of my print?

Absolutely. We stock a wide variety of high-quality filaments in different colors and materials (like durable PLA+ and flexible TPU). If you have a specific color or material requirement for your custom print, just let us know when you request your quote!

đźšš Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! While we are proudly based in Pretoria North and primarily ship across South Africa, we can absolutely arrange international shipping for your orders.

How much does shipping cost?

Because 3D prints vary wildly in size and weight—and because we ship both locally and globally—shipping is calculated after your order is confirmed.

Once you confirm what you’d like to order, we look for the most reliable and cost-effective courier options for your specific address and add the exact shipping cost to your final invoice.

How long will it take to get my order?

  • Ready-made items: Usually packed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
  • Custom prints: Production time depends on the size and complexity of your project. We will give you an estimated production timeline right alongside your free quote.

🛠️ Technical & Quality

What is FDM 3D printing?

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a printing method where lines of melted plastic filament are layered on top of one another to build a 3D object. It is highly versatile, cost-effective, and great for everything from sturdy functional parts to fun novelty items.

Will my print look exactly like the digital 3D model?

Because FDM printers build objects layer-by-layer, you will see very fine horizontal layer lines on the final product. This is a normal and characteristic feature of 3D printing. However, we meticulously tune our machines and use advanced settings (like “ironing” for ultra-smooth top surfaces) to ensure your prints look as clean, sharp, and professional as possible!

What if my file isn’t printable?

Don’t worry! If you send us a file that has structural issues, walls that are too thin, or geometries that won’t print well, we will catch it during the quoting phase. We’ll reach out to let you know and help you figure out the best way to tweak it for a perfect print.
